New Blankies for Bobby

As our sweet puppy is getting older (14 this year) she has had to spend most of her days and nights in her kennel. Like all of us, sometimes she needs a little something new. Thanks to Kohl's 25% off 80% clearance, we treated the canine right to a new quilt and rug for her home to rest on. I am sure she will enjoy getting cozy in it!

Last night Mom and I went to see Barry Manilow in concert. Go ahead, snicker if you want. Could it be magic? Yes it was. He really does write the songs. The only question left is when will I see him again?

We were shopping at a local party store recently, when WHK and his buddy found these funny masks. Though they do not reflect our political ties--they made for a pretty fun photo-op.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Well, amidst illness (note: the whole Kelly crew got some version of the nastiness pictured below) and crazy Valentine work hours, I turned 35. I had a wonderful day--Craig surprised me at the shop with a birthday cake--and we all (parents and mother-in-law) went out for dinner. After dinner I indulged in a little slice of heaven--a lemon bar and latte. Check back for a list of 35 facts about me in honor of my birthday...coming soon!

Sick Sunday

A stomach bug hit WHK and boy was it ugly. Here he is passed out on his bean bag between all of the action. Poor baby!
