Happy Boy

Here is a recent shot of our sweet boy. He is growing so fast! Too fast! He loves his newest discovery--checking out his hands and fingers. He is also mastering the art of rolling over and sleeping through the night. His favorite past time is eating! He now weighs 13 pounds! That is almost 8 pounds in three months!

Holy Rollers

Our Awana club recently had their Grand Prix. This was a long-awaited event for William. In our program you do not compete in the Grand Prix until 3rd grade. So William spent his first two years racing hot wheels with the Cubbies and the next three years watching the other kids run their cars in the race. FINALLY, it was his year to participate. Awards are given on both speed and creativity. We were smart enough to know we could not engineer the fastest car, so we went all out on being clever. I came up with the idea of the "Holy Roller" Craig worked tirelesly to fashion our pine block into a mobile bible--complete with gold-edged pages and a ribbon book mark. William proudly raced his car and walked away with FIRST PLACE in design!! Way to go William and Craig. It was hard to say who was more excited about the victory--both boys wanted to tote the care and trophy to school and work the next day.

Creighton August is here. Kristin and baby are doing great after an unexpected c-section, yesterday, August 26, around 6:50 pm. He came in at 5 lbs 11 oz, 19 inches.
